My Ambition in Life OR What I would Like to be

Life without ambition is like a vehicle without steering. Everybody must have some ambition in life. A person must know his goal, and what career he would like to follow when he grows up. Once the goal is decided, then the person can work hard to achieve it.
From my childhood I have wanted to be a doctor. I am always much concerned when my friends fall sick, and I feel like looking after them. Daddy is a business man and would like me to be one. But I have told him quite plainly that I shall be a doctor. Daddy has no choice but to accept my decision. Now he wishes me all success, and hopes that I achieve my ambition.
After I get my medical degree I shall set up a dispensary in my village. There are no good doctors, there. Many people die due to lack of medical facilities. I would like to provide-medical aid to these unfortunate villagers.
Making money shall not be my aim. I shall never turn away a patient who cannot afford my fees. I shall be gentle and considerate with my patients. I shall visit the homes of the villagers to make sure that they are taking proper care of their health.
I am sure, with determination and devotion; I will be able to fulfill my ambition.

મહત્વાકાંક્ષા વિનાનું જીવન એ સ્ટીયરિંગ વિનાનાં વાહન જેવું છે. જીવનમાં દરેકની થોડી મહત્વાકાંક્ષા હોવી જ જોઇએ. વ્યક્તિએ પોતાનું લક્ષ્ય જાણવું જોઈએ અને જ્યારે તે મોટા થાય ત્યારે તે કઈ કારકીર્દિનું પાલન કરશે. એકવાર ધ્યેય નક્કી થઈ જાય, પછી વ્યક્તિ તેને પ્રાપ્ત કરવા માટે સખત મહેનત કરી શકે છે. નાનપણથી જ હું ડ doctorક્ટર બનવાની ઇચ્છા કરું છું. જ્યારે મારા મિત્રો બીમાર પડે છે ત્યારે હું હંમેશાં ખૂબ ચિંતિત છું અને મને તેમની સંભાળ રાખવાનું મન થાય છે. ડેડી એક વ્યવસાયી માણસ છે અને હું એક બનવા માંગું છું. પરંતુ મેં તેને સ્પષ્ટ રીતે કહ્યું છે કે હું ડોક્ટર બનીશ. ડેડી પાસે મારો નિર્ણય સ્વીકારવા સિવાય કોઈ વિકલ્પ નથી. હવે તે મને બધી સફળતાની ઇચ્છા કરે છે, અને આશા છે કે હું મારી મહત્વાકાંક્ષા હાંસલ કરીશ. મારી મેડિકલની ડિગ્રી પ્રાપ્ત થયા પછી હું મારા ગામમાં એક દવાખાનું ગોઠવીશ. ત્યાં કોઈ સારા ડોકટરો નથી. ઘણા લોકો તબીબી સુવિધાઓના અભાવને કારણે મૃત્યુ પામે છે. હું આ કમનસીબ ગ્રામજનોને તબીબી સહાય આપવા માંગુ છું. પૈસા કમાવવું એ મારો હેતુ નથી. હું જે દર્દીને મારી ફી લઇ શકતો નથી તેને ક્યારેય ફેરવીશ નહીં. હું મારા દર્દીઓ સાથે નમ્ર અને સમજીશ. તેઓ તેમના સ્વાસ્થ્યની યોગ્ય કાળજી લે છે તે સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા માટે હું ગામલોકોના ઘરોની મુલાકાત લઈશ. મને ખાતરી છે કે, નિશ્ચય અને નિષ્ઠા સાથે; મારી મહત્વાકાંક્ષા પૂર્ણ કરી શકશે.
