Walt Disney was a country boy. He was an imaginative and industrious person. He was full of impractical dreams. He studied cartooning in Chicago and then started an animate cartoon company. It flopped. Then he tried his luck in Hollywood at the age of 21. He borrowed $500 from an uncle and started a cartoon series called Alice in Cartoonland. His new series called Oswald the Rabbit' did better but the distributor copy-righted and took over it. Then he started his own series 'Mickey the Mouse' It got unprecedented success. His journey of making Disneyland started from here. It opened in July 1955. The great success of Disneyland changed his fortune. His Disney movies, Disney TV show, Disney book and magazine, Disneyland became so popular that Walt became solvent.
