(1) Magic of Monkey's Paw OR Wishes Granted by Monkey's Paw OR
 Wishes by Mr White and Disasters by Monkey's Paw OR The Monkey’s Paw and its Effect (July 18)
  • When Mr. White demanded the monkey's paw from Sergeant Morris, Morris warned him that he could demand 
  • three wishes from it but all wishes would bring a disaster. 
  • Mr. White was curious and he wished to test the powers of the monkey’s paw. 
  • In the first wish Mr. White asked for 200 pounds. 
  • The next morning, an employee visited the whites with the envelop of 200 pounds but with a news of the death 
  • of his son. 
  • Mrs. White was near fainted listening to that news. 
  • Mr. and Mrs. White were shocked. Their wish had been granted at the cost of their son’s life. 
  • One day Mrs. White demanded to get their son back.
  • As soon as they asked for it, a horrible knock was on the door.
  • Mr. White was trembling in fear but his wife rushed to open the door. 
  • So Mr. White wished that their son should go back. 
  • The knocking on the door stopped at once but the house collapsed.
  • The spell of the paw had worked.

(2) Great Disasters Faced by Mr. and Mrs. White (March 19)
  • Sergeant Morris brought the monkey's paw from India. 
  • Mr. and Mrs. White were curious to fulfill their wishes. 
  • Before giving the monkey’s paw to Mr. White, Sergeant Morris warned them that it would bring disaster to them.
  • But Mr. White takes it in his hand and Mr. White wished to have 200 pounds. 
  • The monkey’s paw moved terribly in his hand and fell on the ground. 
  • The next morning a man from their son's office came and handed them an envelope with 200 pounds. 
  • But at the same time, he gave the news that their son’s death. 
  • One day Mrs. White demanded to get their son back and ask for another wish.
  • As soon as they asked for it, a horrible knock was on the door. 
  • Mr. White was trembling in fear but his wife rushed to open the door. 
  • So Mr. White wished that their son should go back.
